What is Alpha Tocopherol?
Alpha-Tocopherol is the orally bioavailable alpha form of the naturally-occurring fat-soluble vitamin E, with potent antioxidant and cytoprotective activities. Upon administration, alpha-tocopherol neutralizes free radicals, thereby protecting tissues and organs from oxidative damage. Alpha-tocopherol gets incorporated into biological membranes, prevents protein oxidation and inhibits lipid peroxidation, thereby maintaining cell membrane integrity and protecting the cell against damage. In addition, alpha-tocopherol inhibits the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) and PKC-mediated pathways. Alpha-tocopherol also modulates the expression of various genes, plays a key role in neurological function, inhibits platelet aggregation and enhances vasodilation. Compared with other forms of tocopherol, alpha-tocopherol is the most biologically active form and is the form that is preferentially absorbed and retained in the body. (Source: NCI Thesaurus (NCIt))

Vitamin E is an excellent free radical scavenger, can protect biofilm from free radical attack, and is an effective anti-aging nutrient.
Vitamin E can be divided into four types: α, β, γ, and δ. Among them, α-tocopherol has the strongest anti-infertility activity. α-tocopherol maintains normal reproductive function, promotes gonadal development, promotes conception and prevents miscarriage, etc…
Tocopherol is a strong antioxidant that can effectively prevent the rancidity of fatty acids in the food and digestive tract, and protect cells from harmful substances produced by the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids.
1. Balancing Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a naturally occurring substance made by the liver and required by the body for the proper function of cells, nerves, and hormones. When cholesterol levels are in their natural state, they are balanced, normal and healthy. When it oxidizes,it becomes dangerous. Studies have shown that Vitamin E serves as a protective antioxidant that fights cholesterol oxidation. This is because vitamin E can fight free radical damage in the body, which leads to cholesterol oxidation.
2. Fighting free radicals&preventing disease growing
Free radicals fight and break down the healthy cells in your body and this can lead to heart disease and cancer. These molecules form naturally in your body and they can cause severe damage when they accelerate or oxidize. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that has the power to reduce free radical damage, fight inflammation, and therefore to help to naturally slow aging in your cells and fight off health issues like heart disease. Studies have shown that Vitamin E can significantly increase immunity, therefore helping to prevent both common illnesses and serious conditions from forming.
3. Vitamin E Skin Benefits
