Description
Enduracidin hydrochloride is also named Enramycin. It is a polypeptide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces fungicides. It has an antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and a growth promoting effect on chickens and pigs.
ENDURACIDIN HYDROCHLORIDE powder has been used as a preventive feed medication at the level of 3 to 10 ppm in poultry feed (chickens and pigs) since 1974. It can also be used to treat necrotic enteritis caused by C. perfringens.
