What is Ergothioneine Powder？
Ergothioneine Powder 99% is a naturally occurring amino acid with antioxidant activity. Ergothioneine has good photothermal stability and is not easily oxidized and decomposed. L-Ergothioneine (EGT) is a water-soluble cosmetic raw material and is easy to be formulated. Moreover, ergothioneine is non-toxic in epidermal cells, so it will not cause irritation to the skin when used. It has very broad application prospects in the cosmetics industry. Ergothioneine is a good UV protectant, which can block UV damage to the skin and play a sunscreen role. Ergothioneine can also scavenge high concentrations of free radicals in the human body. Ergothioneine powder has two sources from. one is extracted from natural mushroom(Agaricus Blazei), the main specifications are 0.5% and 0.1%, both of them are brown powder. The other one is source from fermented, the purity is 99%, the appearance shows white crystalline powder.
