What is L Aspartic Acid?

L aspartic acid is one of the building-block amino acids that are responsible for synthesizing proteins and regulating hormones in the human body.

L aspartic acid powder comes in two forms: L-aspartic acid and D-aspartic acid.

L-aspartic acid becomes part of proteins synthesized in the body and is responsible for encouraging the production of antibodies that support the function of the body’s immune system.

Usage And Synthesis

Building muscle mass

Due to its role in the regulation of testosterone levels, l aspartic acid has become a popular ingredient in supplements aimed at people who wish to build muscle mass and strength.

Increasing fertility

In a study including 30 men with reduced sperm motility (asthenozoospermia) and 30 men with a low sperm count (oligoasthenozoospermia), a daily dose of l-aspartic acid for 90 days resulted in a significant increase in both the amount of sperm and the motility of the sperm the men produced.

L Aspartic Acid Uses

It has a wide range of uses in medicine, food and chemical industry.

First, In medicine, it can be used to treat heart disease, liver disease, hypertension, and has the effect of preventing and restoring fatigue. Together with a variety of amino acids, it is made into amino acid infusion, used as an ammonia antidote, liver function promoter, and fatigue recovery Agent.

Second, In the food industry, it is a good nutritional supplement, added to various refreshing drinks; it is also the main raw material of sweetener (aspartame)-aspartame.

Third, In the chemical industry, it can be used as a raw material for the manufacture of synthetic resins. It can also be used as a nutritional additive in cosmetics.
